Folk-pop duo DA & the Jones cultivates the she-and-him intimacy of conversations that could take place long-distance on the telephone or across the pillow. Their full-length debut “Sirens” (out March 4) was produced by Mocky (Feist, Jamie Lidell) is the work of collaborators Daniel Ahearn and Mindy Jones, familiar for as solo artists and, recently, as part of Moby’s band – Jones guests on his album “Innocents.” If you’re too cool for straight-up love ballads and the occasional country-inflected bout of introspection, you’d best move along. The poignant “Could’ve Had It All” is one of those sticky confessionals perfect for the closing credits of a movie. Roll.
