Stream: Courtney Love, ‘Miss Narcissist’

Courtney Love has a new single — her second in as many years — and it’s a good bit of straight-outta-the-1990s snarling. Last year, in an entertaining and wide-ranging interview with Pitchfork, she made it sounds as if music was on her back burner (she recently joined the cast of the James Franco film “The Long Home,” among other acting exploits), but this new single arrives this summer as a 7-inch via Ghostramp, the imprint run by Nathan Williams of Wavves. For what it’s worth, “Miss Narcissist” outstrips last year’s “You Know My Name/Wedding Day,” or anything on the 2010 album “Nobody’s Daughter,” which was released under the Hole name.
