Benefit for Josh Schwartz set for Monday at Echoplex

schwartzflyerFriends continue to rally in support of singer-guitarist Josh Schwartz, a creative force in the bands Further, Beachwood Sparks and Painted Hills. Schwartz, who was diagnosed with ALS more than three years ago, has sought experimental stem cell therapy not available in the U.S., and an online campaign raised more than $25,000 to pay for the treatment.

Now the music community is rallying to help pay for the next round – Monday night’s benefit concert “Make It Together” brings his old mates Beachwood Sparks to the Echoplex with a host of luminaries, including the Tyde, Allah Las, Ariel Pink, John C. Reilly and Tomorrow’s Tulips.

Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 the day of the show and available here.
