Moons of Mars unveiled their fraternal falsettos in the fall of 2013 with their slick, engaging “Loser” EP. Brothers Giovan and Mario Polanco return in January with a new EP, “Free to Fly,” a radio-ready collection of electro-rockers. The new single “Holiday” has nothing to do with the season but arrives in time for Christmas, a track that announces itself with a spiky electric guitar riff and heavy drumming before the slinky synth and spiraling chorus kick in. Giovan is responsible for the production here; it’s clear these brothers have the chops to find a following among the pop-osbessed masses.
