Brother-sister duo The Belle Brigade know how to rev things up at a live show, whether they are playing in touring bands for Jenny Lewis and Ray LaMontagne or showing their own chops together with songs from their sophomore album “Just Because.” Siblings Barbara and Ethan Gruska also know how to write a swooping ballad. In intimate tunes like “Back Where You Began,” the Belle Brigade’s  velvety harmonies demonstrate how well the two can transfer their boisterous energy into something beautifully minimal. The accompanying video for the track is just as simple with both Gruskas staring into the camera while various hues help tell the story. “Just Because” is out now via ATO Records.
