Last Saturday’s Bedrocktoberfest at the Bedrock LA studio and rehearsal complex in Echo Park was another eclectic affair, not unlike 2013’s inaugural event. With a musical lineup curated by Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the day was capped by a reunion set by Head Wound City, featuring Jordan Billie and Cody Votolato of Blood Brothers, Justin Pearson and Gabe Serbian of the Locust and Zinner. Their heavy but shortish set was preceded by Deap Vally, Cherry Glazerr, Black Sabbitch and more, along with magic from Rob Zabrecky, Eric Buss and Arthur Trace.
