Tarfest, the annual free, all-ages music and arts event on the Miracle Mile that kicks off at 1 p.m., brings Hunter Hunted, the Moth & the Flame, DWNTWN, Tapioca and the Flea and the Dead Ships to the La Brea Tar Pits Park. [Set times here.]
Jane’s Addiction, performing their 1988 breakout “Nothing’s Shocking,” is joined by Failure, Cold War Kids and ††† (Crosses) at the top of the bill for the first day of the Sunset Strip Music Festival.
