@KRBronson recommends: It’d be easy to extol the virtues of Echo Park Rising – something like 7,000 bands [OK, we jest] over three days, including 10 bands on Saturday on the Buzz Bands LA stage at Taix – here’s an idea for those who may want to steer clear of the cluster (or for those who may have been shut out of the Death From Above 1979 and Superchunk shows). The Helio Sequence, the Oregon duo working on a follow-up to 2012’s “Negotiations,” and New Zeland’s Liam Finn, touring behind his great new album “The Nihilist,” team up for a show on Saturday night at the Roxy.
