Video: Hundred Waters, ‘Out Alee’

If there’s an album to lose yourself in for the week, it may as well be Hundred Waters‘ latest release “The Moon Rang Like a Bell.” The electronic art-rock quartet, who recently relocated from Gainesville, Fla. to the City of Angels, once again masters the delicate balance of precision and ethereal on songs like “Out Alee” and “Murmurs.” Weaving folk elements into R&B-laced electronica, Hundred Waters return with a collection of songs where the percussion simmers, the keys shimmer and Nicole Miglis’ colorful vocals gracefully drape their compositions with open-ended melodies. To provide a taste, director and editor Alex Warren has spliced some otherworldly scenery with clips from a live show in this Acrosanti cut of “Out Alee.”  “The Moon Ran Like a Bell” is out now via OWSLA.
