‣ Ringo Starr & his All-Starr Band rock the Greek Theatre. His band will once again include Steve Lukather, Richard Page, Gregg Rolie, Todd Rundgren and Gregg Bissonette.
‣ East LA Chicano group Quetzal brings their fusion of Spanish, African and Indigenous music and dance to the California Plaza for a free show as part of the Grand Performance series. It’s the Quetzal’s 20-year anniversary celebration.
‣ Not too far down the street, Dead Sara will also be performing a free show at Pershing Square.
‣ R&B and soul singer Leela James headlines the El Rey Theatre in support of her new record. [That’s the video for her album’s title track “Fall For You” above.] L.A.’s neo-soul trio Moonchild supports.
‣ Yellow Red Sparks, Minnie Driver & the Jukebox Junkies, Sean Finn & the Royal We and Town in the City all take on Hotel Café.
