MTP-FB-Event-Page-Music-HeaderFree live music … at a swap meet? Sure, why not. The popular Melrose Trading Post, a longtime Sunday staple at Fairfax High, will be offering midday sets on Saturday at its location at Taft High in Woodland Hills (5461 Winnetka Ave.). “Melrose Music Series in the Valley” will be curated by Jayk Gallagher of the collective All Scene Eye (he’s also the frontman of indie-rock band Hobart W Fink). The series, which will run through September, features the likes of Winter, the Anti-Job, Stonefeather, Fort King and the Electric West during its first month. Music runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and it kicks off July 5.
