Psych-rock mystics EFG (Electric Flower Group) and pop darling Meiko will be joined by four of Los Angeles’ top emerging artists on the eclectic lineup for 2014’s first edition of Chinatown Summer Nights on Saturday, June 14. The LA Weekly Live Music Stage will also feature pop quintet Babes, gypsy-punk ensemble Kera & the Lesbians, indie-rock five-piece StaG and singer-songwriter RÁJ.

Chinatown Summer Nights, which go off in the Central and West Plazas (943-951 N. Broadway, L.A.), are free and all-ages. Co-presented by KCRW, the entertainment includes DJ sets from that station’s hosts at the dance stage, as well as a host of family and cultural activities, including art and artisan displays, interactive drawing, a culinary stage, food trucks and a craft beer garden (conveniently located opposite the Live Music Stage).

Full details of the June 14 activities are available at Chinatown LA (the lineup of KCRW DJs is TBA).

Chinatown Summer Nights continue July 12 and Aug. 9, followed by the annual Moon Festival on Sept. 13.

After the jump, set times for the Live Music Stage:
