Morgan Kibby may be mostly known for her major contributions to M83 songs “Kim & Jessie,” “Skin of the Night” and the everlasting “Midnight City,” but now that she’s no longer on tour with Anthony Gonzzlez, her solo project White Sea is taking off again. To follow up 2011’s “This Frontier” EP, Kibby’s released the anthemic “They Don’t Know” and its music video is a beautiful match even if it is a little NSFW. Directed by Steven Johnson, who is known for his extensive work with Lady Gaga, shots of Kibby are spliced with underwater dancers donned in flowing gowns that are very… loose. With each frame shot entirely underwater, White Sea’s lead single off 2014’s “Cold Blood” remains elegant and powerful.
