If there’s a tune to soundtrack your last few hours of daydreaming at the office, this is where dreamy two-piece Boardwalk steps in. The duo comprised of Mike Edge and Amber Quintero releases yet another serene single titled “High Water,” with its ethereal guitar tones, brushing percussion and velvety-textured yet molasses-slow vocals. Its Alfredo Lopez-directed video doesn’t stray too far from the duo’s inclination for kaleidoscopic sepia tones, but it’s another woozy track and clip to ease you into the night … or somewhere else that’s lovelier than where you currently are for 3 minutes and 19 seconds. Boardwalk’s self-titled album is slated for an Oct. 15 release via Stones Throw.
