A bounty of good shows tonight:

Julia Holter, whose new album and third full-length in as many years “Loud City Heart” is just out on Domino, plays the First Unitarian Church in Koreatown. Nedelle Torrisi and Anenon open, and the Dublab DJs and the Wild Up! Orchestra will also be on hand. Above is the Eugene Kotlayrenko-directed video for “This Is a True Heart.”
‣ On the six-year anniversary of the release of his previous solo album (“Further North”), Jonathan Rice headlines the Largo at the Coronet behind his newest work, “Good Graces,” which is out next Tuesday.
‣ The legendary Boz Scaggs visits UCLA’s Royce Hall behind his new album “Memphis,” his first new work in five years. Has it really been 37 years since “Silk Degrees?” Time flies.
‣ It’s a third night of the Pixies at the El Rey Theatre, this one with Reignwolf opening.
‣ North Carolina indie rockers the Love Language play the Bootleg Theater behind their new album “Ruby Red,” with L.A. five-piece Avid Dancer opening. (Later, in the Bootleg Bar, MVSCLES play a free show.)
The Golden Ghosts have a residency raging at the Viper Room, and tonight’s support includes Walla, whose “Nature” EP comes out today, along with the Bixby Knolls and Fire in the Hamptons.
‣ Midwestern indie trio On An On bring their lush music to the Satellite, supported by Hands and the Moth & the Flame. On An On recently covered Bjork’s “Unison,” which is worth checking out here.
‣ And Meiko does a home-turf show at the Hotel Café on a night that Laura Ocean celebrates the release of her EP.
