The opener of the Jubilee Music & Arts Festival might have been light on the crowds, but there was no shortage of energy from the performers. Kitten [top photo], Trash Talk, the Black Lips and Obliterations peeled what was left of the paint off the the downtown warehouse complex that hosted the venue, and whether it roared or purred, the music was top-notch throughout the day. Here is our report from Day 1.
