What we saw at SXSW.

Peace, the foursome of Harrison and Sam Koisser, Douglas Castle and Dominic Boyce, recall a whole slew of British guitar bands without leaning on any one influence too heavily. NME reacted predictably, giving them a “Best New Band” nod, and Anglophiles everywhere have embraced last September’s “Delicious” EP. Two more songs, “Follow Baby” and “Wraith,” have trickled out of the Peace camp since, and the band has signed to Sony (in the U.S.), which will release the band’s debut album, “In Love” (produced by Jim Abiss, who did the Arctic Monkeys’ Mercury-Prize winner as well as albums by Adele, Ladytron and Sneaker Pimps, among others). Prepare for another Invasion.
