“Lemon Scent,” the third single from Dead Sara’s self-titled debut in 2012, owns a special place in our hearts and ears, because it was the song that introduced us to the L.A. quartet, almost two years ago. The foursome’s new video for the song, which features singer Emily Armstrong and lead guitarist Siouxsie Medley duking it out in the boxing ring, is pretty appropriate. Dead Sara’s bluesy metal is nothing if not pugilistic. Armstrong, Medley, bassist Chris Null and drummer Sean Friday are currently opening for Muse on the U.K. band’s national tour. And, probably, not ducking any punches.
