‣ Lord Huron kicks off 2013’s First Fridays series at the Natural History Museum, with Wildcat! Wildcat! supporting.
‣ Big night of metal at the Fonda Theatre, with Bay Area  Neurosis headlining and Savage Republic and Ides of Gemini setting the table.
‣ FOMO – that’s “Fear of Missing Out” – brings 10 bands to the Echo and Echoplex for a big night of music. The upstaris/downstairs lineup features Incan Abraham, James Supercave, Monte Mar, Beach Party, Cosmonauts, Gothic Tropic, Steffaloo, Tashaki Miyaki, the Abigails, and VUM.
‣ And tonight’s installment of the free Satellite nights series at the Satellite features Future Dancing, Canadian pop auteur Rich Aucoin and Oregon trio Bearcubbin (who count Smashing Pumpkins drummer Mike Byrne as a member). We love Aucoin’s video for “It.”
