Download: The Parson Red Heads, ‘Another Chance’

1

A little over two years has passed since Los Angeles parted ways with the Parson Red Heads, but even after they returned to their hometown Portland, Ore., the warmth of their melodies has stayed within the L.A. community. With last year’s release of “Yearling,” they’ve offered more of their sunny psychedelic folk-pop tunes for us to keep in the Golden State, and there’s more where that came from. The quartet will release a deluxe version of “Yearling,” which features six bonus tracks like the elegant ballad “Another Chance,” on Jan. 22 via Second Motion Records. But if you’re yearning for more than an expanded album, a brand new record is in the works with producer Scott McCaughey (R.E.M., Baseball Project).
