Ears Wide Open: Dekades

by Kevin Bronson on October 29, 2012

Dekades like things dark and delicious. The new band led by guitarist Arden Fisher (who plays in Omniflux) does more to soundtrack the spooky season on its first single “Dark Horse” than all the kitschy Halloween songs we’ve heard in the past week. Layers of guitars, dirty electronics and feverish vocals almost make you feel entombed, as a matter of fact. Dekades has been teasing its forthcoming music with not one, not two, but three videos by director Aaron Paustian, and between those visuals and the Nine Inch Nails-esque sinisterness of this single, we’re curious about what shadowy places Fisher will go.
