rickieleejones-davebarnumIt’s a big night for Dios (or Wearedios, if you prefer). The Hawthorne-bred quartet today releases its long-awaited third album, “We Are Dios” (on Buddyhead) and plays a free show at the Troubadour supported by the Henry Clay People and Signals. … Rickie Lee Jones [pictured] returns to Silver Lake environs (her February 2008 shows at the Echoplex were quite strong) to play the Vista Theatre. … A handful of Tuesday residencies are going strong. At Spaceland, Mia Doi Todd plays on a bill with Becky Stark and Farmer Dave Scher. … At the Silverlake Lounge, Roll the Tanks headlines while Hello Dragon is among the openers. … Midwestern-bred folk singer Lissie [a download, and a little love from Aquarium Drunkard] plays at the Hotel Cafe; Jay Nash has the residency there. … Ferraby Lionheart continues his run of Tuesdays at the Bootleg Theater; John Gold supports and the Sweet Hurt is doing a stripped-down early set. … Also: Los Lonely Boys at the House of Blues; Clipse at the Roxy; Denver’s the Swayback at the Viper Room; Memphis’ Magic Kids at the Echo; Ollin at the Echoplex.
