Jackson Phillips and Kevin Friedman – aka L.A.-based electro-pop duo Carousel – burst onto the sunny SoCal scene with tunes off their debut “Palms” EP this past summer, and they’re continuing to churn out these feel-good tunes to prove that the seasons never really change in California. With a residency and tour under their belt already, Carousel is set to return with a sophomore EP of more warm songs to revive your dance moves. Â The new single “Into the Night” is another ’80s-leaning gem perfectly suited to soundtrack the next coming-of-age hit in the theaters. Grab your Ray Bans, hop in the car and let the city lights guide you on an evening drive with this one.
