In between other musical activities, siblings Erica and Bruce Driscoll – dba Blondfire – have been working on a full-length to follow up their “Where the Kids Are” EP, which introduced the band’s catchy indie-pop with singles such as the title track and “Walking With Giants.” The duo co-wrote “Liar Liar” on Avicii’s new album (with Erica singing on it), and Bruce has been busy with his indie-pop duo with Marie Seyrat, Freedom Fry. Blondfire today announced that its debut album “Young Heart,” originally scheduled for this fall, would be out Feb. 11, and the title track is an airy slice of dream-pop with boy/girls vocals, willowy synths and some ticklish guitars. Almost enough to make you feel young at heart.
