Video: Radar Brothers, ‘Reflections’

The songs on Radar Brothers’ latest album, “Eight,” are sprawling and beautiful, and on their latest single, “Reflections,” Jim Putnam’s vocals can even seem hypnotizing at times. In fact, there is a driving percussion that propels the melodies into one of the most razor-sharp tune on the album. Its Be Hussey-directed clip goes along with the energy in a kaleidoscopic manner, but all it took to make it was an iPhone 4s, flowers from the garden, and the faces of the Brothers. Simple but effective. “Eight” is out now via Merge.
