Frankie Rose has a knack for dream-pop with a new wave tint. Her previous record “Interstellar” was fuzzy nostalgia with stargazing vibes, and she returns Sept. 24 with the album “Herein Wild’ via Fat Possum. Picking up right where she left off with singles such as “Sorrow” and the latest single “Street of Dreams,” a cover of the Damned, Rose kicks it up a notch with a subtle gothic sheen that makes her sweet vocals more resonsant than ever. Here’s hoping the new record is right up there with her previous album.
