L.A. quartet Saint Motel will headline this year’s Tarfest, a free day of music and art in Hancock Park adjacent to the La Brea Tar Pits. The musical lineup also includes Nightmare Air, Tapioca & the Flea and Echosmith, with a fifth band possibly to be added. The 11th annual event, which runs from 2 to 8 p.m., features a live music stage, live painting, a beer garden and wine bar, children’s activities and more. Participating artists this year are Axis, Craola, Devngosha, Britt Ehringer and the Namaak Collective, KMNDZ, Nunca and Edward Walton Wilcox.  This year Tarfest is presented by 88.5 KCSN and Launch LA.
