Super Sunday things:

‣ It’s a been a good week for Medicine fans. The legendary L.A. shoegazers just released a new album titled ” To the Happy Few” – their first full-band record in 20 years – via Captured Tracks, and now they return to the stage at the Echo tonight for Part Time Punks. [That’s Medicine’s video for “It’s Not Enough” above.] Tropic of Cancer supports.
The National and Daughter do their second L.A. show together this weekend. Tonight, they take over Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
Phoenix stops by Club Nokia in support of their album “Bankrupt!” Grouplove supports.
Yeasayer returns to L.A. and plays the El Rey Theater in support of their latest album “Fragrant World.” L.A.’s Mini Mansions opens.
Ivan & Alyosha headlines the Troubadour in support of their debut “All the Times We Had” and and L.A.’s Army Navy, who are set to release “The Crushed” EP Aug. 20, also plays.
