Fans who can’t get enough of candy-coated electro-pop and its big hooks and its saccharine melodies and its cherubic gang vocals will want to latch onto FMLYBAND. Fans who immediately recognize that “Electricity” plunders M83’s “Midnight City” are going to want to break a glowstick in two. There’s not much more to say than that, except that FMLYBAND – and Santa Barbara County-based sextet of Mac Montgomery, Braelyn Montgomery (pictured), Erik Mason, Justin Huntsman, Al Valles and Ethan Davis – are in the process of making a fan-funded full-length. And I’m fresh out of glowsticks.
