Before your jaw drops over the Bronx’s new video, remember this: They are hardcore punk-rockers who lead double lives as a mariachi band. So almost nothing is out of bounds. That said, here is your beefcake matinee, the band’s new, possibly R-rated video for “Wasted Youth.” It premiered, of all places, on Playgirl.com, was directed by directed by Sam Macon (Dum Dum Girls, Crocodiles) and features the three male dancers – Steve (“The Hammer”), Jim (“Double Gunz”) and Mike (“The Meat Wagon”) – who performed with the band at its Los Globos album-release show. Matt Caughthran told us earlier this year that “Youth Wasted,” off the quintet’s recent release “IV” was written during a reflective time, but, well, I’m not sure I’ll ever listen to it the same way again.
