We’re coming up on the end of a very robust year of album releases – wonder if anybody will remember Glasvegas’ self-titled disc from way back in January when compiling those year-end lists? Maybe that’s why the Glaswegian quartet is hitting us with a video for “It’s My Own Cheating Heart That Makes Me Cry.” Pretty cool concept here, pretty epic song. In fact, it might sound better now than it did in January. Sometimes an album has a way of coming back around after your first impression wears off, and this song sounds better to me now than it did in January, if that’s not being too oblique. If only the lyrics didn’t say, “Liar, liar, pants on fire.”
