The lineup for this year’s FYF Fest — annually billed as “the best weekend of summer” — will be revealed this morning when festival founder Sean Carlson appears on KCRW at 10 a.m. to spill the beans.

Info regarding this year’s festival, which is expected to return to its Exposition Park location Aug. 22 and 23, has characteristically been kept under wraps, but sources say the Jesus and Mary Chain, Deerhunter, Battles and Alvvays will be playing this year’s festival. More info to come.
