Singer Allison Louie has collaborated with Robin Hannibal of Quadron and contributed vocals on Nick Waterhouse’s 2012 album “Time’s All Gone.” Her newest single as Louie finds the Orange County native collaborating with Brooklyn’s Pegasus Warning, aka Guillermo Brown, along with Wynne Bennett of Twin Shadow and Wendy Wang (the Sweet Hurt), the latter of whom engineered the recording in her apartment. “Fire,” released in Feburary, is a torchy, tasteful bit of electronic R&B notable for the silky-smooth conversation between the principal vocalists. The song is the first from an EP planned for release later this year. Stay tuned.
