‣ The annual KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas returns for its 25th year. Day 1, which is happening at the Forum, features a lineup that includes Linkin Park, Rise Against, Incubus, Bush, System of a Down, Fall Out Boy, Walk the Moon, New Politics and Royal Blood.
‣ The Lonely Wild headlines the Bootleg HiFi in celebration of “Holidays.” Buzz Bands LA presents the night and LA Font and A House for Lions join in on the fun.
‣ Gardens & Villa [pictured] plays their last show of the year at the Echoplex before going into the studio for their third album. [Check out “Love Affair.”] Also on the bill tonight: Geneva Jacuzzi and TV Girl.
‣ The Fonda Theatre presents a night with American Football and the Dodos.
‣ The Roxy Theatre’s got College, D/A/D and Room8.
‣ Yung Lean & Sad Boys and Gravity Boys all team up at the Regent downtown L.A.
