Sunday’s shows, and it’s no time to rest:

Daniel Lanois, whose new album of experimental electronic music “Flesh and Machine” came out in September, headlines the El Rey Theatre, with outsider artisti-turned-musician Lonnie Holley supporting. Above, “Sioux Lookout,” a film by Adam CK Vollick and Lanois with Carolina Cerisola.
‣ On the heels of the release of their “Live From Bonnaroo” session, Lucero kicks off three straight nights on its “By the Seat of Our Pants Tour” at the Echo.
My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult surfaces for Part Time Punks night at the Echoplex, supported by Ravens Moreland and Egrets.
Brazilian Girls, back after a six-year hiatus and with a new album on the w way, play the Roxy Theatre, supported by Honey LaRochelle.
‣ All-star roots-rock band the Hard Working Americans visit the Fonda Theatre in support of their album/documentary release “The First Waltz.”
‣ On the occasion of what would have been his 70th birthday, Byrds co-founder Gene Clark will be celebrated at the Hotel Café, with appearances by the Jangle Brothers, Carla Olson, Gospelbeach, Kai Clark, Bob Woodruff, the Psychedelic Cowboys, the Digs, the Willows and Zachariah.
Noah & the MegaFauna play the Satellite behind their new album “The Pale Blue Dot,” supported by Teddy Pushpin, Spooks, Loaf and TITS (the new band featuring Josh Litt from Oliver Future).
Dum Dum Girls team up with Tapioca and the Flea and Lowell at a sold-out semi-private show at the downtown retail/warehouse space the Well.
