The fifth annual Culture Collide, the multinational assemblage that brings more than 60 bands to various venues in Echo Park in October, has announced set times for the festival Oct. 16-18.

Cloud Nothings headline the outdoor World Stage in the Taix parking lot on Friday night; on Saturday, it’s Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. Similar to August’s Echo Park Rising, other Culture Collide stages will be situated in Taix (both the lounge and the Champagne Room), the Echo Park United Methodist Church, the Echo and Echoplex and Lot 1 Café. This is the first Culture Collide to be mounted under the auspices of the website/promotions company Culture Collide rather than the magazine/promotions company Filter, which announced its demise in June. Filter’s partners split, with one principal, Alan Miller, launching the new venture carrying the name of Filter’s old festival.

A wristband for all three days is $35.48 (including fees).
