‣ The Avett Brothers [pictured] and Dawes team up for a night of great music at the Shrine Auditorium.
‣ David Lowery does double duty, bringing both Camper Van Beethoven and Cracker to the Echoplex for a big benefit for the charitable group MUSACK. Sean Conroy and Dave Anthony join the fun.
‣ Lobsterfest wind ups its weekend run with a headlining set from Berlin Featuring Terri Nunn, along with Metalachi, the Damselles & the TC4, Taikoproject and Up Next, at Ports O’Call Village in San Pedro.
‣ Kimbra continues her “Space Jam” residency at the Bootleg HiFi. Her album “The Golden Echo” is just out.
‣ David Serby heads up the lineup at Grand Ole Echo at the Echo, which also features Nocona, Amilia K Spicer Band, Tawny Ellis and the Dank at the Echo (3 p.m.)
