Because there’s not enough happening around the USC campus today, there’s a yoga show at the Shrine Expo Center, in case you want to skip FYF:

‣ Day 2 of this year’s FYF Fest goes off at the L.A. Sports Arena & Exposition Park, featuring the Strokes [above], Haim, the Blood Brothers, Flying Lotus, Blood Orange, Darkside, Built to Spill, Earl Sweatshirt, Four Tet, the Murder City Devils, Mac DeMarco, the Bronx, Tanlines, Kindness, Ryan Hemsworth and Pink Mountaintops.
‣ There’s the 10th Anniversary Johnny Ramone Tribute at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, hosted by Rob Zombie along with Steve Jones, Duff McKagan, Fred Armisen and more (plus an all-star band performing Ramones hits).
‣ It’s the final of the three nights of “The Beatles’ 50th” at the Hollywood Bowl, with Dave Stewart (musical director) and guests Vanessa Amorosi, Michelle Branch, Billy Ray Cyrus, Mary Lambert, Martina McBride and Liv Warfield
‣ Indie-rock, anyone? The Dark Matters (featuring ex-members of Useless Keys) headline a free show at the Satellite, supported by LEF, Burning Palms and Manhattan Murder Mystery at the Satellite
‣ And Whispering Pines and the Ben Reddell Band head up the lineup at Grand Ole Echo at the Echo, playing along with Christy Hays and Cliff Wagner (3-8 p.m.).
