‣The Summer and Music series in Long Beach continues with “Twisted at the Pike” (95 S. Pine),  a free show featuring De Lux, Fartbarf, Wild Pack of Canaries and Free Moral Agents.
‣ X does the second of its album shows at the Roxy Theatre.
‣ Mac DeMarco plays the Fonda Theatre behind his new album “Salad Days,” with Calvin Love supporting. Above, his wacky video for “Passing Out Pieces.”
‣ At the Hollywood Bowl, it’s Chris Botti and Chris Isaak, along with the L.A. Phil, for the first of two nights.
‣ Ace singer-guitarist David Garza does a free show at Levitt Pavilion Pasadena.
