Got plans Saturday night? Chinatown Summer Nights kicks off its monthly series in a big way, bringing six bands to the LA Weekly Live Music Stage and KCRW DJs Travis Holcombe and Mario Cotto to the dance stage in the Central Plaza. The festival’s other attractions include artisan displays, “Big Draw LA” (participatory art), food trucks, culinary demonstrations and a craft beer garden.
To set the mood, Buzz Bands LA (which curated the live music stage) has compiled a sampler platter of tunes from the six bands – EFG (Electric Flower Group), Meiko, Babes, Kera & the Lesbians, StaG and RÃJ. The event is free and all-ages. After the jump, the set times:
6 p.m. – RÃJ
7 p.m. – StaG
8 p.m. – Meiko
9 p.m. – Babes
10 p.m. – EFG
11 p.m. – Kera & the Lesbians
