‣ Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival continues Weekend 2 at the Empire Polo Club. Tonight’s headliners include Nas, the Disememberment Plan, Pet Shop Boys, Skrillex, Muse, Pharrell Williams and more. See set times for Weekend 2 here.

‣ Progressive metal band Dream Theater plays the Orpheum Theatre.
‣ La Femme, the Aquadolls and the Vim Dicta all team up at the Roxy.
‣ Anvil‘s just down the street at the Whisky.
‣ The New Division [pictured] celebrates the release of their new record “Together We Shine” with a show at Los Globos. Kerry Leva, Glowbug and Golden Gardens also play.
‣ The Bootleg’s got Princess Reason, Alec Benjamin, Trevor Menear and Windy.
‣ Canadian band Royal Canoe stops by the Satellite where they’ll have L.A. acts Madi Diaz and Roses as support.
‣ Bonfire Beach, the Herms and Los Dharma Bums play Lot 1 Cafe tonight.
‣ And Alyeska (aka Alaksa Reid) plays the Record Parlour.
