‣ Nashville-based singer-songwriter Katie Herzig has a new album out today. It’s called “Walk Through Walls,” and the Colorado-bred songstress, who’s featured on the RAC single “We Belong,” plays the Troubadour tonight in celebration of the release. Amy Stroup opens.
‣ Six-time Grammy winner Ziggy Marley visits Club Nokia, supported by Chali 2na.
‣ Foster the People, whose second album “Supermodel” came out in March, warm up for Coachella by playing a gig at the Fox Theater Pomona.
‣ Sierra Swan plays the Hotel Café (the show will be taped as well) behind her new album “Good Soldier.” Also at the Cahuenga Boulevard venue tonight: Boys School, DA & the Jones, Heather Porcaro and Shayne Blue.
‣ Great White Buffalo rocks the Viper Room, supported by Young Creatures.
‣ And Pop Shop West goes off at the Echo, headed up by U.K. indie-pop artists Summer Camp and Fenech-Soler. Get there early for the Mercy Beat [see our March post on them].
