@KRBronson recommends: Two L.A. bands with eagerly anticipated releases on the (distant) horizon have headlining shows this weekend: Wildcat! Wildcat!, their full-length debut in the works, plays the Echoplex on Friday night with an excellent supporting cast of Body Parts and Mt. Ossa; and Fool’s Gold, who’ve been working on their third album, hit the Satellite on Saturday night, supported by Crash and Raw Geronimo.

@Seraphina_L recommends:  If you’re looking for a show with a lineup featuring strong females, then Bootleg’s got you on Sunday with Swedish singer-songwriter Miriam Bryant and pop-stomping English singer Natalia Kills. These two ladies will keep it fresh.
