What a week. It’s as if there was end-of-summer sale on new songs. Today on the Buzz Bands LA Show on The Independent FM,  I will share some of them, including the latest from supertrio the Cold and Lovely (members of the Smashing Pumpkins, the Weepies and Hole), Together Pangea, Dream Boys, Wake Up Lucid, In the Valley Below, Boardwalk, Lily Kershaw, Allah-Las and even something fresh from Moving Units. And since there’s a bunch of weekend fun on the horizon, I will spin some of the bands playing next weekend’s Lobsterfest (Big Black Delta, Dead Sara, Deap Vally, Nightmare & the Cat) and the Sept. 21 Chinatown Moon Festival (the Little Ones, Victory, Black Hi-Lighter, Northern American). Oh, and somewhere in there is a tease for the Buzz Bands LA 5-Year Anniversary Party, coming Sept. 27.
