Video: Banks, ‘Waiting Game’

L.A. native Banks continues to take off. She announced today that her “London” EP would be out Sept. 10 via Harvest Records and debuted a deep, dark video for the single “Waiting Game.” It’s directing by Emmy-nominated Francesco Carrozzini in appropriately deep, dark fashion. The EP features collaborations with producers SOHN, TEED, Jamie Woon, Tim Anderson and Lil Silva, although if you close your eyes and concentrate, you could imagine “Waiting Game” as a singer-with-a-piano number without the oppressive bottom end. One thing for certain, Banks’ take on the inner workings of the heart is not to be trifled with.
