‣ The Under the Influence of Music Tour wafts its way to the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater featuring a lineup of Wiz Khalifa, A$AP Rocky, Smoke DZA, Chevy Woods, Joey Bada$$ and Berner.
‣ It’s the second week of the Twilight Concert Series, which brings free live music to the Santa Monica Pier. Tonight, it’s Meshell Ndegeocello and the Record Company.
‣ Fol-rock band Chief plays this week’s edition of Roaring Nights at the Los Angeles Zoo, which offers comedy, food, libations and some educational-in-a-fun-way actitivies.
‣ Fol Chen, along with KCRW DJs Raul Campos and Valida, perform at this week’s installment of Music for a Better Living at the Hammer Museum.
‣ Alabama Shakes return for a second night the Hollywood Palladium.
‣ White Dove celebrates the release of its album “The Hoss, the Candle” [see our post from June] with a show at El Cid, supported by Tomorrows Tulips and Dream Boys.
‣ And White Arrows do the first of two nights at the Bootleg Bar. PYYRAMIDS, Groudislava and Beach Party open.
