@KRBronson recommends: The Ocean Blue’s atmospheric indie-pop came on the radar more than two decades ago, their early albums (especially 1991’s “Cerulean” and ’92’s “Beneath the Rhythm & Sound”) drawing comparisons to the Smiths, Cocteau Twins, New Order and Aztec Camera. Now the Pennsylvania-bred quartet has released its first-full-length in more than 10 years, “Ultramarine.” The Ocean Blue’s show Saturday at the Satellite with the Orange Peels and Willie Wisely has sold out; a second show, Sunday, has been added with Incan Abraham and Soft Swells.

@Seraphina_L recommends: Devendra Banhart headlines his second of two SoCal shows (with the first being at the Observatory on Wednesday) in support of his latest album “Mala.”  Little Joe’s Rodrigo Amarante, who also played on Banhart’s record, opens for him at the Fonda Theatre on Thursday.
