In one of the more unusual stunts in the annals of festival promotion, the newly relocated and newly re-christened Jubilee Music & Arts Festival today leaked a flyer for its two-day event. Local blog The Scenestar published the big reveal, and you don’t need an advanced degree in the Daily Jumble to figure it out: Brooklyn indie-rock band the Drums, Atlanta punk rockers Black Lips, and Pennsylvania neo-’70s rockers Free Energy head up the lineup for the June 7-8 fest.

They’ll be joined by the festival’s traditional cadre of top local talent, including Fool’s Gold, Jenny O., NO, Kitten, Incan Abraham, Yellow Red Sparks, Tashaki Miyaki, Broadheds, Francisco the Man, Western Lows, Beat Club, HOTT MT, Calvin Love, Cayucas, Ghastly, Tapioca & the Flea, Daddy Kev, Thee Mike B, Franki Chan, Golden Sun, Wardell, AVP, Torches, Moses Campbele, Great White Buffalo and a few more that currently stump the Buzz Bands LA crew.

Tickets are still available at $35 for a two-day pass. The official lineup announcement is expected on Tuesday, according to the Jubilee’s Twitter feed.

Formerly known as the Silver Lake Jubilee and launched in 2010, the June 7-8 affair – new being staged in the Downtown Arts District at 590 S. Santa Fe Ave. – will offer about 50 acts in all, over three stages, with a fourth stage devoted to literary readings and comedy. For the first two years [that’s the crowd in 2011, below], Jubilee was largely an all-local-band affair; now it’s expanding its purview to include touring acts.
