Thousands flocked to Chinatown on Saturday for L.A.’s Year of the Snake Lunar New Year Festival, which featured a huge, slow-moving parade, cultural entertainment of all manner and performances by six bands – Eastern Conference Champions, Troup, Mind the Gap, Spirit Vine, Western Scene and Daniel Ahearn & the Jones – on the local music stage.
