Fueled by their fascination with space shuttle Endeavour, Jesse Kivel and Zinzi Edmundson – better known as synth-pop duo Kisses – offer a track off of their forthcoming “Original Planets” EP. Although the song doesn’t actually feature any of those swoon-worthy boy-girl harmonies, the song still fills in all the moody sound pockets like past Kisses songs do. Their emphasis is here just a little more “science” than pop. But really, let’s just talk about what everyone’s thinking; these are just two lucky synth-pop lovebirds geeking out over space. It’s so cute Chuck Klosterman is seething with jealousy. A sophomore album from the duo is on its way.
